Esports and Germany – that's not exactly a match made in heaven in the media landscape, while the scene itself keeps growing and the gap keeps widening.
RunItDown wants to close that gap.
There's no publisher or corporation behind this, just a small team led by Jusuf Hatic, who has spent years writing as a journalist for PC Games Hardware, GameStar Tech and GamePro.
We're building this from the ground up, with the standard you'd expect from a newsroom: fast, but properly researched. News and guides around League of Legends itself, plus results the same evening, previews before matchday kicks off, and analysis when a single result doesn't tell the whole story.
- At the core is League of Legends itself – patches, new modes like League Classic, and everything else moving the game.
On top of that, the major esports leagues as a bonus: LEC, LCK, LCS, LPL from the start, with the German Prime League joining later for the playoffs. - Other esports titles like Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, and Rocket League will follow in the coming months.
- Long-term, this is meant to become more than a news portal – team profiles, a player database, live standings, and much more.
But that's a step for later. The first one is simple: show up reliably when it comes to League – whether on the Rift or in the league standings.
